the creator
I’m a nature-inspired mother and maker living in the northern state of MN with my husband and three boys. When I’m not tending to my garden or crafting low-waste creations, you’ll often find me in the kitchen, baking or experimenting with new seasonally-inspired recipes. From garden-gathered or foraged creations to reusing materials, I love sharing the joy of wholesome and sustainable living.
Join me on this journey toward a slower, more intentional lifestyle, where every craft, and every meal, is a celebration of simplicity and the rhythmic beauty of nature.
To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.
-Audrey Hepburn
1. Gardening’s been my lifelong love affair. From my earliest memories, I’ve been digging in the dirt, coaxing life from tiny seeds. It’s not just a hobby; it’s woven into the fabric of our family culture.
2. I’m a bit of a hobby hoarder—I collect interests like others collect stamps. From nurturing my garden to baking up a storm, dabbling in herbalism, and even trying my hand at basket-weaving, you could say I’m always on the lookout for my next creative adventure.
3. Believe it or not, I’m surprisingly terrible at dancing. While I may have two left feet on the dance floor, I make up for it with enthusiasm and a good sense of humor. Let’s just say my moves are more comedic than graceful!
